In August 2018, VIVO acquired Canna Farms, tripling VIVO’s production capacity and adding more than 15,000 medical patients and an indoor craft-quality BC bud cultivation facility. Canna Farms was the first Licensed Producer in British Columbia to receive an ACMPR/MMPR license from Health Canada and has been growing cannabis since 2014. Canna Farms offers a large selection of strains of award-winning, artisanal, and hand-trimmed cannabis flowers with varying levels of THC and CBD. All products are grown using glacier-fed groundwater and without pesticides. Canna Farms has won numerous awards for exceptional products and service, including Top Reviewed LP from Lift & Co. and the People’s Choice Best LP Customer Service award from O’Cannabiz.

ABcann Medicinals

ABcann Medicinals operates VIVO’s Napanee, Ontario facility which produces high quality, indoor grown cannabis in tightly controlled, standardized growing conditions. This facility is built in accordance with GMP standards and is awaiting certification in late 2019. It also houses ABcann’s world-class cannabis R&D lab, developing proprietary technology and advanced growing techniques in partnership with some of the brightest minds in agriculture at the University of Guelph. ABcann Medicinals’ Kimmett Road facility is the site of VIVO’s seasonal greenhouses and future outdoor grow. This facility, expected to be approved for cultivation in mid-2019, will cost-effectively produce extraction quality cannabis in environmentally friendly conditions.

Harvest Medicine is a wholly-owned subsidiary of VIVO Cannabis. The company is an education focused, patient-centric, network of specialty medical cannabis clinics where patients receive best-in-class education, care, advice and follow-up support as they approach cannabinoid-based medicine. Harvest Medicine is one of Canada’s fastest growing cannabis clinic networks. In October 2018, it acquired Trauma Healing Centres, a multi-disciplinary clinic network providing medical cannabis care and specializing in patient assessments and individualized wellness plans. Together, Harvest Medicine and THC operate clinic locations in Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario that provide care, education and support to over 27,000 active patients. Harvest Medicine recently launched the HMED Connect™ telemedicine service, which provides patients in certain provinces access to its class-leading education and patient-centric care at any time, from anywhere.
